I’ve moved.

Although, I’m not telling anyone I’ve moved, yet.

So here I am. I’m not sure what I am gonna write about here. Except knitting and crafty things to start, maybe. And then one or two drunken photos. And some general whinging. So business as usual, I guess.

So, here are my current projects…

Super secret pink fluffy:

It’s a thing – you probably can’t tell what yet, though I promise I will reveal when it is finished. It is going well, so far, especially considering it’s the first thing I’ve ever knitted on circular needles. The black stitch marker is a particularly classy touch, I think – but hey, it is better than using earrings, which is what I normally do. And then wonder why I can’t find my earrings.

Anyway, this will be part of a matching set, which will be, I hope, tremendously cute.

It’s about halfway done, which means I am going to need to finish my other current casted-on thing (what? It is so a word).

It is one of a pair of not-glove arm warmer things. Knitted on double pointed needles I am going to need to finish Pink Fluffy.

I actually think I might have rotated that photo the wrong way round, but you get the picture. They are knit with this pattern.

I have made pairs of these for about 5 people know, and they are tremendously simple – but a very good way to learn who to knot on circular needles – something that looks impressive, but is actually not at all hard.

Anyway, I’ve made a bunch of them, and never made any for myself, and when I saw this wool, and liked the colour, and wanted to make something simple with it, I thought, OK, I will make myself some of those – and use the left over wool for the peggy-square blanket I am going to make myself.

So, yeah, anyway, hi. I’m back – in a manner of speaking. Woo!
