I am at my parents’ house, in the land that broadband forgot. As such, it is too frustrating to find and upload a picture of a nice frock.
So, this week it is your turn. If a dashing young(ish*) man approached you on the street, and wanted to whisk you off for a romantic and unexpected date, featuring dinner and dancing and assorted fun times. What would you wear*? For inspiration you could look here, or here, or here. Extra points will be given for shoes and jewellery and great bags. Leave links or polyvore pics in the comments, and I’ll feature the ‘winner’ (decided by me – but if you really like someone else’s, feel free to say so) in next week’s friday frock. And there may be a prize in the form of cupcakes. Who knows?

* Depending on how old you are – we’re very age appropriate here at Craft is the New Black
* Pretending that money, time and whether the dress will actually fit you are all of no consequence.

holy crap, just started playing on Polyvore, too much fun. I need advice though, what are shoes supposed to match?
meganwegan // June 5, 2009 at 5:20 am |
@ Martha: I usually go with…nothing. As long as they are pretty, who cares if they match?
@Joanna: A date where you are off your feet the whole time? I think you included entirely too many clothes.
